“You see, it’s all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning”
– Emmerson Lake and Palmer
Googles how to start a blog, spends $80 on WordPress, and here we are!
I have a blog! About what? I am not completely sure yet. Any suggestions?
The only thing I’ve proven particularly adept at is living with cancer and talking about myself so I guess that’s my “niche” as the blogosphere calls it.
Perhaps, like my many journals, I’ll quit 5 pages in. Perhaps I’ll shock myself and keep up with it. Who knows? Life, I’ve come to understand, is a crazy journey. Anything can happen.
For those of you who don’t know me: Hi! I’m a woman, in my early 30’s, living in the Washington D.C. metro area. My life is pretty typical of a “millennial.” I love my friends, my husband, bougie shit, and my dog.
I like my job… for the most part. But, like I said, I’m a millennial so I also have dreams of being an artisinal marijuana manufacturer, or candle maker or some other hipster nonsense like that. I just want to work with my hands, man.
The only difference between me and most of my fellow future organic apple juice pressers is that I’m also battling Stage IV Cervical Cancer. That’s the worst stage for those of you keeping track at home. You can read more about that depressing shit here, if you’d like.
For those of you who do know me: Hi Mom, thanks for being my only blog reader. I’ll call you later.
